Peugeot Iran is a subsidiary of the French automaker Peugeot, operating in Iran's automotive industry. The company was established in 1964 and is headquartered in Tehran, Iran. Peugeot Iran has been involved in manufacturing and selling a range of Peugeot vehicles, including cars, commercial vehicles, and motorcycles. The most popular Peugeot models in Iran are the 206, 405, and 207 models. In 2016, Peugeot Iran signed a joint venture agreement with Iran Khodro, the largest Iranian automaker, to produce new Peugeot models in the country and increase its market share in Iran's automotive industry. However, due to US sanctions, Peugeot Iran halted its operations in 2018.
